Betty Boop as Snow White
Here’s a link to stream one of the very best Betty Boop cartoons: Snow White (1933). This one features a terrific performance of “Saint James Infirmary Blues” by Cab Calloway and his orchestra. The fluid movements of the ghost were based on Calloway’s own dance steps, using the Fleischer brothers’ advanced rotoscoping techniques.
